What is the Community Strategic Plan (CSP)?
The Community Strategic Plan is Council’s main strategic document that plans for and guides the future of The Hills Shire.
The CSP defines the community’s vision and sets a direction for everything we do together over the coming years to make the vision a reality. It outlines long-term goals, strategies to achieve them, and measures to track progress.
The CSP guides all the Council's plans, policies, and budgets, ensuring a cohesive approach to planning our community. Every council is required under legislation to have a CSP.
The Community Strategic Plan addresses four key questions for the community:
Who delivers the CSP?
The Community Strategic Plan is a collaborative effort between Council, the community, businesses and organisations across The Hills Shire.
We all have a stake in building a vibrant community and quality of life for everyone in our community.
Council leads the development of the CSP on behalf of the community, which is why your input into its review is vital.
The CSP details how we, along with our community, businesses, all levels of government, and non-government partners, will work together to address key challenges and achieve the desired outcomes.
