Consultation has concluded.
Exhibition of Draft Amendments to Contribution Plan No.15 – Box Hill Precinct (FP216)
At its Meeting on 10 December 2024, Council resolved to publicly exhibit draft amendments to Contributions No.15 – Box Hill Precinct (CP15).
CP15 enables Council to levy development within the Box Hill Release Area to contribute towards the provision of essential local infrastructure, including transport, open space and water management facilities.
Contributions are collected gradually as development occurs and pooled until there are sufficient funds to deliver a whole infrastructure item such as a road or park.
The draft amendments seek to ensure that CP15 includes the most up to date information available and ensure that the most accurate contributions are collected from remaining development within the Precinct.
The draft amendments are time-critical and as such, the exhibition is required to occur over the Christmas / New Year period. However, in acknowledgement of this, the exhibition period has been extended from the minimum required period of 28 days, to 51 days in order to provide additional time for the community to consider the proposed amendments and make a submission.
