What's on Exhibition?

A Draft Plan of Management for Kellyville Park is now on exhibition for public inspection and comment. The exhibition is a Council resolution from its meeting on 23 July, 2024.

Why is the Plan of Management on Exhibition?

In 2014, Council prepared a ‘Generic’ Plan of Management that included a large number of sports facilities across the Local Government Area (LGA).

Kellyville Park was included in the plan as at the time it was a relatively basic local sports facility in an emerging area.

In 2024, this context has changed significantly, with the park now taking shape as a Premier District Level Sports Hub.

A site-specific Plan of Management is now appropriate for this park due to:

  • The changing context of the Park
  • Significant investment in the Park and
  • The presence of a key user group under long-term access arrangements

What will the Plan of Management allow Council to do?

Council's Plan of Management will establish detailed directions for future management and development.

These directions are based on:

  • Engagement undertaken through the 2019 Master Plan
  • A State Significant Development Application in 2022
