Consultation has concluded.

Kellyville memorial grandstand.

The Hills Shire Council is calling on residents to have their say in naming the grandstand at Kellyville Memorial Park.

The grandstand at Kellyville Memorial Park has been proposed to be named the ‘Jack Iori Grandstand’. The grandstand forms part of the community facilities within Kellyville Memorial Park.

The request is in recognition of the commitment and contribution made to the community of Rouse Hill, the Sporting Community of The Hills Shire, particularly to Rugby League and to the Parramatta Eels by Mr Jack Iori OAM.

About Mr Jack Iori OAM

Mr Jack Iori OAM was a generous supporter of community causes and sporting initiatives. He built a thriving egg farming business in Rouse Hill, creating local jobs and later serving on the NSW Egg Corporation. He reinvested business profits into the community and charities, with a particular passion for local junior sport. Jack was also a devoted supporter of the Parramatta Eels since the late 1960s, sponsoring end-of-season player awards and regularly supplying the team with eggs.

The Iori family has been a major contributor to the Parramatta Eels Foundation, which supports grassroots Rugby League development and community programs across The Hills and Western Sydney. Jack's generous financial contributions have also supported the Parramatta District Junior Rugby League and were one of the original financial contributors to the Rouse Hills Rhinos Rugby League Club.

Jack also developed the Rouse Hill Village Centre, which has become a vital hub for residents and local businesses. In 2008, Jack was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for his service to the egg industry through roles in industry regulatory bodies and to the community of Rouse Hill.
