Consultation has concluded.

Stockhorse Avenue Reserve Concept Play Tower.

The Hills Shire Council is pleased to announce the design of a new park located at Stockhorse Avenue, Box Hill.


The park will provide a range of informal recreational opportunities for the local community and will feature a range of facilities consistent with a local level park, as outlined in Council’s Recreation Strategy, including:

  • Playground with a range of play equipment, such as a tower structure and climbing net
  • Picnic shelter (table and seating)
  • Turf kick-about space
  • Pedestrian pathways
  • Tree planting and soft landscaping works
  • Seating areas and sandstone logs
  • Two half basketball courts - size 15M × 11M (optional).

Council is inviting the local community to provide feedback on the park design below — submissions close on Wednesday, 11 February 2026 at 5pm.
