At the Council Meeting on 12 August 2025, Council resolved to adopt the Commemoration Plaques Policy. Council also resolved to place the policy on public exhibition for 28 days, with submissions accepted for 42 days.


What is the Commemoration Plaques Policy?

The objective of this Policy is to provide guidelines on new plaques throughout the Shire. This policy applies to all commemorative works and memorials to provide a consistent approach within buildings, parks and other public domain areas under the ownership or management of Council.
