What is Proposed?
We have received an application for the demolition of existing structures and tree removal, staged construction for five buildings known as Buildings A, B, C, D and E, containing 217 independent living units for a Senior Housing Development.
The development includes three levels of basement parking to accommodate 315 car parking spaces, communal landscaped areas including a rooftop garden on Building C; a porte cochere fronting Hughes Avenue, ground floor communal facilities including wellness and social spaces, a neighbourhood shop to serve the village and local community, and associated site preparation works, including utility infrastructure.
The Sydney Central City Planning Panel is the determining authority for this application.
What is the Application for?
Seniors Housing Development – the proposal is Nominated Integrated Development under the provisions of Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979, as approval is required from Water NSW under Sections 89 and 90(2) of the Water Management Act, 2000.
