Proposed 'No Right Turn' from Withers Road onto Annangrove Road

Concerns have been raised by the community regarding the intersection of Annangrove Road and Withers Road. Due to the high volume of traffic along Annangrove Road during peak hours, drivers turning right out of Withers Road are finding it difficult to find an appropriate gap in traffic.
This intersection will be upgraded to traffic signals as part of a broader upgrade of Annangrove Road. Council is in the process of seeking a construction contractor, with this large-scale project expecting to have a construction period of more than 24 months. To assist in managing traffic flow through this intersection in the interim, it is proposed to install a temporary ‘No Right Turn 6am-10am and 3pm-7pm, Monday to Friday’ restriction for vehicles turning out of Withers Road.
This restriction would be removed in the future, once the upgrade of Annangrove Road has adequately progressed.
